HOW'S YOUR DAY THREAD

This has been a great day for me. Can you guess why? Well, I'll tell you: I've now seen G2014!  

LUCKY!!! I would love to see the movie myself, but I have to wait until Friday. I can wait it out, I can wait until opening day >.> I can wait...I can do it!

Generally my day has been a bit tiresome very much like yesterday. Either from enjoying my summer too hard and staying up most nights, or I haven't been out in a while to really energize myself lol

Bah, either way, hope that changes. I'll be seeing X-Men and potentially the Amazing Spider 2 today. Leaving out in a few more minutes. After that on Sunday, I'll be seeing GODZILLA at IMAX for the very first time, can't wait for that cinematic experience! I'll leave my reviews of the movies when I come back ^_^

Beyond that, I want to say that I have done extreme work on my kaiju girl! She's turning out to be quite beautiful and well done, I might post her up either tonight or sometime tomorrow ^_^

I'm planning on seeing Godzilla in IMAX sometime this week myself, figure I got to see it on the real big screen at least once!

I'm looking forward to seeing this kaiju girl of your's once she's complete!

Eh, delayed for a while due to a friend of mine being late. Probably won't do Spider 2 today, but X-Men is still on without question.

my day was ok i got extremely good at project diva f beating all the songs on hard and passing 3 on extreme but on the bad side im sick i hope i get better before school starts back up.

My day has been kinda alright, I've been extremely busy lately due to work but now I finally have some major free time on my hands! Finally! Now I can get back to those mangas and enjoy more of Gormaru Island ^_^

Ah! Finally managed to establish a great wifi connection, ever since my area had a huge thunderstorm last week, several power lines had been knocked down, which in turn, wiped out most power within my neighborhood. Managed to get by through several hotspots, but my time in those spots aren't long.

Thankfully everything has been restored and is tip top!!! About time too, I was greatly missing the island and everyone on it!

Yeah, that's the thing... there ain't a lot of people around! I've been pretty much the only guy here for weeks. [I had one regular member working with me on Daikaiju Academy ReEmergence, but he jumped ship when we started going in a direction he didn't like...]

Oh? Who was that?

Thus far my dar has been pretty satisfying
I managed to have a smooth time at work, finished creating my recently announced Muto-Girl/K-Girl Emiko-Muto, annnnd....Hmm....Well, I'm almost finished in completing GORMARU's first written chapter, and my next Gormaru Monster Character Sheet

Pretty good day, pretty good day! Now to end it all, I'll be watching Heroes of Cosplay, and start working on a few updates for Gormaru Island!

Sorry for the lack of presence here fellow islanders! Translating and cleaning manga scans aren't exactly easy tasks to deal with. That and my real life has drawn me away for a good while. But none the less, I make sure to check in every now and then to see what's going on. I hope to catch some major free time soon this weekend, so I'll be able to catch more time here very soon!

Great to hear from you again OniGoji! And by all means, I look forward to your complete return! Things have been mostly inactive around here. We have members, and yet, most of them don't appear online except for a select few.

I'm not sure what it could be, but I'll figure it out soon enough, at the moment I'm fixing for a streaming service to host Movie Nights. I should have something soon enough

My day's been pretty good. I got back from the USA, where I attended my third G-Fest. I had such a wonderful time there!  

So far my days looking up, simply because of the fact that there's finally been some more activity around here then usual, hoping that the trend will continue in the future; even a few people can keep a site very active, as long as they've got the time to participate!

Today has been quite an interesting day! One that I have never even thought would happen to me.

Today(and technically several months ago), I've encountered more fans of Gormaru and its series. As a creator of anything, if you asked them, they will agree that it feels warm and sincere whenever you meet people who enjoy and like what you've made. Because in many cases, it feels nice to know that there are people out there who support your work. They acknowledge you and your creations.

This happened to me today, but what really got me today, was that I've been receiving multiple messages of demand and interest for Gormaru and Co.
And by "demand and interest", I mean, fans have been demanding and asking for GORMARU merchandise. Merchandise to purchase! This has been made known to me before last year when the facebook page was beginning to grow. But as huge as it is now, the awareness of that demand has been becoming more and more in-my-face. It has technically reached a new level!

Again, I feel that wonderful warm, sincere, heartfelt feeling as a creator. To know that I have such passionate fans! But what really knocks me on the floor, is the realization that my monster has a marketable audience. Fans willing to invest into my creations. It's just mind-blowing! I'm not sure how to approach this situation, but from the advise of a few trusted friends, they believe I should jump at the chance. I'm not sure what I'll do, I need some time to think about it.
But this in general, was what made my day ^_^

Well my day has been going quite well, I've haven't done much, just went to work and now I'm here!
But I have done something rather important today once I was off. I had registered and copyrighted all of my original giant monsters.
Technically as soon as you make something, it's already copyrighted because it came from you. However, in the case of someone stealing your ideas
or work, than that won't technically matter. Because in a legal standing, if you don't file any copyright protection, than anyone can claim it as their own.
Because whoever legally claims it, is the one in which the law will side with in the case of ownership.

Since I'm looking into expanding my horizons through my GORMARU series, than it was critically important to copyright my creations. So yeah, everything is covered, and my creations are all legally owned by me. I have a protection seal and everything! For some reason, this really made my day! ^_^

Anyway, as a creator, you need to protect your works. Especially if you are going to pursue a future through them.

Congratulations, glad to see you're creations are taking the first serious step towards becoming what could be the next successful American Kaiju franchise! These days, Kaiju are finally getting the respect they deserve!
