Hello, Gormaru Island Forums!

Hey there, I'm AdventDestiny [or Advent, if you prefer!] newly joined member of Gormaru Island Forums! Got an invite from the site's adminstrator from deviantArt, and didn't have to think twice before joining up!

So, I'm an aspiring conceptual artist and writer, and a big fan of both the classic kaiju film genre, as well as the Japanese Tokusatsu genre that is often closely related to it!

I've been a member of several art and community sites for almost a couple years now, including deviantArt and Kaiju Galaxy forums, the latter of which I'm a global moderator [my username there is AdventDestiny-Iota].

Some of my favorite things are kaiju and their human sized counterparts [often called Kaijin] and appear throughout the numerous Tokusatsu series in Japan, and my favorite Tokusatsu franchises are Godzilla, Kamen Rider, Garo, and Ultraman! I am also not afraid to admit that I'm a fan of Kaiju Girls, especially the characters of the Daikaiju Academy fandom on deviantArt!

Right now my personal projects are a bit scattered, but they do include the creation of an original Tokusatsu series called AdventDestiny: Emergence [before you ask, I based my username off of this project, not the other way around!], a fan-fic/crossover of Pacific Rim and Daikaiju Academy, and I've also been considering creating a new variation of the 30 Day Art Challenge, a "30 Day Kaiju Art Challenge"... then making a "30 Day Kaiju Girl Challenge", and even the creation of an original Kaiju/Kaiju Girl Tournament using my creations from my challenge as participants!!! Man, I'm a busy body! 

Tokusatsu fan hybrid in being a Kaiju Girl fan as well? O.O

Welcome Advent! Great to have you among the community here upon the island! I hope your stay here is just as grand and stable as my own And please do bring some of your art over here, I'd love to experience it very much! And I'm glad to see you express how much you enjoy Kaiju Girls, you're among comrades here friend!

Simply enticing to how openly expressive you are, indeed you are welcomed among friends here AdventDestiny! The island is still growing in numbers, but generally you can be yourself here without any worries at all. Everyone here is open minded and very accepting, and we hope this stability will make your time here memorable ^_^

A quick question on the subject of the kaiju girls; I understand that anything pornographic is off-limits, but what's the general NSFW limit in regards to nudity?

In the regards of nudity, generally all of the above can be show since nudity can be used as a expressive form of art, so for Kaiju Girls, it can be allowed. Breasts, rumps, any form really. But anything in the nature that simulates porn (Generally porn in the manner of engaged sex) isn't allowed.
So if you have any creations that are nude, they can be shown, just give a little 'mature notice' should you post up any Kaiju Girl threads I'll be creating a Daikaiju Academy thread upon the island within a few minutes, don't want the fans to feel left out or undermined. ^_^

Great to see another fellow Kamen Rider and Daikaiju Academy fan! And yes, I'm a moderator for Kaiju Galaxy, mostly do to me being able to check in on a regular basis to monitor the site, as well as my cool head during a bit of a heated argument between a couple of participants in last year's Fan Fiction Kaiju Tournament we had on the site.

And to Boogie209, thanks for the answering the question, and I can hardly wait for the Daikaiju Academy forum here! I might invite the guys from the DkA group on deviantArt to feel free to join up if their interested in discussing either the kaiju girls or anything else kaiju related!

By all means, invite everyone from DKA DA! We're friendly and maturely open upon all counts! Kaiju Girls and fans of the fandom will always have a place upon the island ^_^ So please do tell them!
And with you as a moderator upon Kaiju Galaxy, I would like to discuss potential talks with you if you're interested in being a mod here upon the island in the long run.

Actually, that's a pretty awesome idea, bringing over all of the fans from Daikaiju Academy Deviantart, over to the island! Technically every fan that is a kaiju girl loves the kaiju genre, and with the open minded setting here, it's practically like Neo Monster Island, except without the funny comics T.T
(But we do have manga here! )

I'm definitely interested in being a moderator here; Kaiju Galaxy's been really slow for a while now, so I'm kind of looking forward to the challenge of monitoring a newly created forum as it develops!

While I'm at it, I'd also be interested in inviting members of Kaiju Galaxy here, and anyone here is welcome to join Kaiju Galaxy as well... the site's not very active at the moment, but it's a site that's been around for over a decade, and there are still several veterans their who would probably be glad to give some advice in their own experiences in the creation and maintaining of a friendly kaiju community!

Yeah, in fact I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps this new site could work as a sort of kaiju girl revival... it is a lot like the old site [though a little more strict with the explicit content], but hopefully much more stable and friendly than the original!

That said, I would hate for this site to end up devoted to the kaiju girls; I think it's focus should be kaiju, but leave plenty of room for interrelated subjects like Tokusatsu and non-Japanese giant monsters, as well as the kaiju girls.

Advent is right on point, the island is generally centered upon the genres we love and have made apart of our lives and likeness. However...

I've been a fan of Kaiju Girls since I first discovered them off of Neo Monster Island, I love everything about them and the creativity invested in every creation brought to life within its fandom. To me, they have a well deserved place upon Gormaru Island, so yes they can call this place their new home.

In terms the restriction of explicit content, I'll take consideration in lightening up, at least for the regards of Kaiju Girls and Tokusatsu. No other medium will be accounted within this consideration. I'll probably make another set of rules and conduct if I decide to lift the restrictions.

I agree with you, and maybe we should at least consider a new set of rules in regard to the kaiju girls; a little explicit content here or there would be okay, but I feel that the no pornographic images/stories rule should definitely remain intact.

A little bit of explicit content here and there is acceptable and fine with me, so long as this balance is respectfully maintained, then the restrictions over Kaiju Girls can be lifted, although with a more sturdy ruling and conduct to make sure that things do go too board.

Awesome Advent and Boogie! Great to see that the chains might be coming off (I hope so!), and I do agree a new set of rules specifically for Kaiju Girls would be helpful in keeping order within that general hub area.

Right now I'll start be reviewing the rules on deviantArt on nudity and sexual content; dA has a pretty good policy that promotes artistic nudity over pornographic exploitation, which is as good a place to start as any!

Quite a good place to start indeed, with a proper guideline fans can have their cake and eat it too.
Do take your time, wouldn't want to rush you during a crafting out policies. This rule will also fall under for all originals and inspired creations that becomes a part of the Academy, or the verse of Kaiju Girls in general.

Actually, I think I've got a good reference list written down, I'm sending it to you now; most of the punishments already in use here would probably be sufficient, so mostly my focus was defining what would be classed as inappropriate.
