| http://www.siliconera.com/2014/06/23/godzilla-video-game-stomping-ps3-winter/Godzilla Video Game Stomping On To PS3 This WinterBandai Namco has the license to Godzilla and are working on a PlayStation 3 game. The news comes from this week’s round up of Japanese magazine leaks, which reports Godzilla will have a retro special effects style. SH Monster Arts (makers of the figure above) are creating 3D models and 3D skin for the Godzilla video game.
Godzilla will be able to fight using kicks, tail swipes, and his trademark atomic breath. An image shows various enemies standing in front of Godzilla.
Godzilla is slated for release this winter in Japan. While we’ve seen Godzilla games before, the recent ones were from Atari. Bandai hasn’t made a Godzilla game since the Game Boy days.------------------ Epicness!!! I look forward to seeing the leaked scans!!! Thank goodness I have a PS3, fans get excited!

| But it's a Japanese game... an American PS3 wouldn't be able to play it, unless it gets marketed to the US, which I don't any reason why not, though it could take a while... | |

| The PS3, like the PSP, PS Vita, and PS4 are all region free ^_^
Meaning, you can play a Japanese PS3 game on a US PS3 console, no strings attached. All you have to do to get the game is import the game. Which I have done multiple times before, it's pretty easy. Costs a bit depending on the shop, but easy!

I just noticed that myself! This looks like a game I would get, that is if it wasn't for PS3. I hope it'll be available for other consoles.

| It looks to be a PS3 exclusive, although beyond that, I'm just simply excited that 2014 Goji is confirmed to be within the game, awesomeness! I look to getting this game this Winter, importing experience don't let me down! | |

| Same here, from the looks of it, the title might be Digital-Only. Which to be honest, sucks, but that means I have to buy Japanese PSN Money Cards to buy the game. Technically yes, it is not a lot of work, but depending on the price of the game, could make the whole process feel a little taxing.
Hopefully, with enough support and demand, Namco Bandai will bring GODZILLA over into the US. But none the less, I'm excited!!!

| Well it looks like NIS America won't be able to assist in localizing Godzilla, I guess this is one of those title games that Namco Bandai doesn't want anyone else to touch.

| That's too bad, completely eliminates any chance of me being able to play this... when you get this thing, you gotta give us details about the game, we'll [I'm ] be dying to see just what is in the game, all the little easter eggs, and what the monsters are like! | |

| I'll be sure to do just that! Translations and understanding the game will take some time but I'm certain that it can be accomplished with a bit of effort! I'll post videos and screenshots of course! And I will post impressions and translations incase any of fans manage to import the game and need help with anything. | |

| When I first heard of this confirmation and announcement, all I could say in that brief moment was: Finally, after 7 long dry years of not having a console Godzilla videogame, at long last, fate has delivered in kindness in bringing the creation of a new Godzilla title!
I was pretty damn excited! Although upon hearing that it was going to be a single player action game, I will admit, I was somewhat disappointed. I was happy that Namco Bandai finally attain the rights for Godzilla, but honestly, I was hoping for a new Godzilla fighting game. Again, I'm generally a fighter kind of gamer.
But none the less, action is my second cup of tea, so it wasn't a total bust! I still look forward to this game and its release, I still have a PS3, so I'm quite ready for this! I know how to import games as well, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. If it's a digital title, it'll take a bit of work, but I'll make damn sure that this game is within my console!

| Update! NEW GODZILLA SCANS: Information: The new scans announce humanity's resistance weaponry against Godzilla, one that is familiar to all fans of the franchise: G-Force. In the game, players will do battle against G-Force as you rampage across Japan, encountering fearsome battles that will increase in difficulty. Fighter Jets, Tanks, and Maser tanks, they will surround and attack head on from all sides. However the real brutes of G-Force are: The Super X The Super X2 The Super X3 and MFS-3 3-type KIRYU --------------- The Super X will be armed with powerful weaponry, it's most devastating weapon being Cadmium Missiles. The Super X2, a more defensive Super X, will feature it's iconic reflection mirror, a feature that can heavily damage you if you are careless in your assault. The Super X3, will feature frozen based weaponry, while having its powerful Freezer Beam armed. KIRYU: Serving as the strongest of G-force's arsenal, built around the skeletal frame of the original Godzilla, is a multiple-purpose weapon, equipped with laser guns, missiles, and the Absolute Zero. (And armed with the menacing Drill Arm) ---------------- Other notes: The Game's Visual Presentation, will mirror that of the Toho films. Although to focus upon the cinematic nature, the game will have a special camera that will shift and focus upon the action when you're attacked, or when you are aggressively attacking. Offering a view that will embodied the look as if you were watching a Toho Godzilla film right before your very eyes. http://ps3.tgbus.com/UploadFiles/201407/20140724101135525.jpghttp://ps3.tgbus.com/UploadFiles/201407/20140724101136436.jpg | |

| Indeed! Although a 50 meter Godzilla vs. a 100+ meter Godzilla, sounds like a beatdown than a showdown lol But I'm willing and able! | |

| Well clearly they're the same size; the 90's Godzilla is only a tiny bit shorter than the Legendary Godzilla, and it looks like they boosted Kiryu's size, just like they did for all the monsters in the Atari fighting games. | |

| GODZILLA is Officially Being Localized To the US, UK, and AU!! For the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3!! http://www.bandainamcogames.com/game/godzilla.htmlCOMPLETE & UTTER DESTRUCTION !! Godzilla, the King of the Monsters, first appeared in 1954. Scientists studied Godzilla and found that they could harness energy from the monster. Called “G-Energy,” this seemingly endless source of power was used to better the lives of all mankind. 60 years later, just when mankind’s memory of the beast faded, Godzilla appeared again. Godzilla destroyed at will, all in search of more G-Energy. Such irony, the same G-Energy which was used to better the people’s lives, also caused Godzilla to awaken. Can the G-Force, mankind’s last hope, stop Godzilla? What fate awaits Godzilla once he has consumed all of the G-Energy, and grown to his full potential? IS GODZILLA HERO OR ANTI-HERO? ROAR AS THE CLASSIC GODZILLA OR 2014 HOLLYWOOD GODZILLA ! LAY WASTE TO CITIES WITH BRUTE FORCE & ATOMIC BREATH !! BATTLE AGAINST A CAST OF MONSTROUS LEGENDARY RIVALS !! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can preorder the game currently at Gamestop, the game will be available Summer 2015, with a date aimed during July! We did it! Our voices were heard, and we actually made a difference! I guess petitions do work after all from time to time! I'm still importing the game for the PS3 this year, it will serve as a collectible item once the US release of GODZILLA is out. I'm just utterly excited right now, as are millions of other G-fans! I'll definitely be owning this game on the PS4, bringing Godzilla to next-gen consoles is a must in my gamer's book! | |
